Rich is an actor, comedian, improviser, and solo-performer from New York City. Rich is currently part of the cast of Brody Went Missing, which is a finalist in the Soho Playhouse Lighthouse Series. Next shows will be in July 2025.
A former organic chemistry researcher (and junior varsity quarterback), Rich has put on a few hats: an experimental writer for The Blue Man Group, a sketch writer-actor for Adam McKay’s Hyperobject Industries, a quick-change magician for Barstool Sports, the so-called “Mountain Dew Exploding Couch Guy” (see GIF above). He has also brought his late-night-gonzo clown show The Piece (dir. Geoff Grimwood) to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was awarded "Best Fringe Experience" by The Wee Review.
Recently, Rich starred as the henchman Lucky in Porter Pictures comedy/horror feature The Blacklight (Amazon Prime). His work has been described as “simply extraordinary” (William Propes, Rotten Tomatoes/The Independent Critic).
You may recognize Rich from national commercials, including a current one where he plays Cookie Monster’s roommate.
Rich is a graduate of William Esper Studio’s two-year Meisner program, UCB, The PIT, and has studied clown with Chris Bayes (Yale). He is represented by Stewart Talent (commercial).
Rich once worked in a yeast lab where he accidentally contaminated his sneakers with radioactive waste.
