Rich is an actor, comedian, improviser, and solo-performer from New York City. Most recently, Rich finished a round of NYC workshops on Lifestyle, an Adam McKay & Hyperobject Industries political live sketch comedy project.
A former organic chemistry researcher (and junior varsity quarterback), Rich has worked with The Blue Man Group, Upright Citizens Brigade (Characters Welcome), and has brought his late-night-gonzo clown show The Piece (dir. Geoff Grimwood) to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was awarded "Best Fringe Experience" by The Wee Review.
Recently, Rich starred as the henchman Lucky in Porter Pictures comedy/horror feature The Blacklight (Amazon Prime). His work has been described as “simply extraordinary” (William Propes, Rotten Tomatoes/The Independent Critic).
You may recognize Rich from national commercials, including a current one where he plays Cookie Monster’s roommate.
Rich is a graduate of William Esper Studio’s two-year Meisner program, UCB, The PIT, and has studied clown with Chris Bayes (Yale). He is represented by Stewart Talent (commercial).
Rich once worked in a yeast lab where he accidentally contaminated his sneakers with radioactive waste.
